I’m Arrio Rusnak, founder and creative behind Matchbox Motion.
Born and raised on Maui, I grew up around landscapes that were hard not to capture. That’s where my eye for adventure, movement, and storytelling started.
I later traded the island for the pitch, playing Division I soccer at NJIT. Competing at that level shaped the way I work—move with purpose, pay attention to the details, and always find a way to create.
With a background in marketing, photography, and content, Matchbox Motion became the collision of all of it.
Different places. Different perspectives. One creative spark.
Matchbox Motion was built to make things stand out.
Homes, brands, businesses, people—whatever the subject, the goal is the same: create visuals that stop the scroll and leave an impression.
Inspired by Hawaiʻi roots and Colorado mountains, my work blends clean, professional imagery with adventure, movement, and a little edge.
